BOARD OF DIRECTORS


Lanita Stutzman,
Executive Director

Lanita moved to Rusk County in 2014 with her husband Shelby and son Jack. She has thoroughly enjoyed getting to know people in this community. Youth have been a passion of hers for a long time, and she has served them through teaching Sunday school, as a youth pastor, leading Bible studies, and one-on-one mentoring for over 16 years. Lanita is a stay-at-home-mom to her 3 young sons. She has enjoyed traveling to many different countries using her nursing career to help those less fortunate in countries like Haiti, Benin, Kenya and Liberia. Cross-culture awareness is something that she values and believes every person should experience so you realize how blessed we are in the USA. Currently, her volunteer time is used to direct Power House. In the past, Lanita has served on the local Pregnancy Resource Center and Rusk County Youth Council (RCYC) boards. She has volunteered with Youth with a Mission (YWAM), Mercy Ships and other organizations on local and foreign mission trips. Some of her favorite past times are being outdoors and being with her family and friends. Lanita received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2000 and attended an YWAM Discipleship Training School (DTS) in 2001.

Kathy Lindahl,

Kathy came to Ladysmith in 1990 to camp on newly purchased land. She and her husband Gary built a cabin in 1997 and moved there permanently in 2008. Kathy loves to garden and maintains 12 gardens and a fruit orchard on their property. She is the president of the Ladysmith Area Garden Club, member of Friends of the Library, helps out with Harvest of Talents and KAMO when possible.
Kathy worked at Andersen Windows where she worked up to the Payroll Manager, Benefits Manager, then started up an Employee Service Center for the company before taking an early retirement in 2001. Then while waiting for Gary to retire, she worked at FamilyMeans, a non-profit in Stillwater MN. FamilyMeans runs two separate youth centers besides offering much needed help to families. Kathy served on the FamilyMeans board for six years, and served a double term as Board Chair during their capital campaign prior to working there.
Kathy has three married children, all in Minnesota, six grandchildren and two and a half great grandchildren. While her children were growing up, Kathy taught Sunday school and was a Girl Scout Leader.

Jeremy Allard,
VP/Secretary

​Jeremy has been in Rusk County since 2003 serving as the pastor at Sheldon Church of Christ after being a youth minister in the Twin Cities for 6 years. He has been active in supporting the youth since arriving. He was the chairman of Christian Harbor Youth Camp for three years and has been on the executive committee for the Rusk County Youth Council (RCYC) for the past 8 years where he is currently serving as Chairman. He has also been one of the developers and trainers for the Teen Leadership Academy sponsored by RCYC for our area schools. He has been an active volunteer at Flambeau School district where his kids go to school. He has volunteered as a coach, adviser for the Flambeau AODA prevention student task force, post-prom, among other things.

Doug Dieckman

 ​Doug Dieckman began his teaching career in 1994 at the School District of Bruce, where he taught Technology Education in the middle and high school for 15 years. After completing his Master’s Degree in School Counseling he then accepted a position in the Ladysmith School District as the Middle School Counselor in 2009. After moving the
middle school students to the high school building, he now is back teaching some Technology Education courses along with providing assistance with the Student Services Department.
Throughout his time as an educator, Doug has also been very involved with coaching boys and girls in a variety of sports and activities. Doug has been coaching football for over 20 years and has been a head coach for 15 of those years. He has also been a head baseball coach, assistant baseball coach, assistant basketball coach, middle school girls’ basketball coach and middle school football coach. Along with coaching school sponsored activities, Doug has also coached many youth basketball teams, youth baseball teams, and youth football teams. He truly has a passion for working with youth in variety of extra-curricular activities.
Doug’s education includes: BA-Technology Education (UW-Stout), MS-School Counseling (UW-Stout) and currently he is completing his certification in School Administration (St. Mary’s University). Doug is also a graduate of the U.S. Army
Sergeants Major Academy. He has served in the Army Reserves for the past 26 years and currently is a Command Sergeant Major for the 378th Forward Engineer Support Team located in Darien, IL.
Doug is married to his wife, Megan. They have 3 children, Darek, Jared, and Emma. They reside in Ladysmith, WI. His family enjoys living in the country and spending time outdoors. As busy as life seems to be, there is always time to have some fun.

Donna Wishowski

​An avid  outdoor enthusiast, Donna Wishowski is a recently retired cancer survivor.  Ms. Wishowski has spent her life being involved with her family and community organizations.  Active in Girl and Boy Scouts, 4-H, church Youth Groups and now women’s ministries, outreach projects and KAMO (Kids and Mentors Outdoors) and two years service in AmeriCorps.
Her career includes 29 years as the Director of Kinship of Rusk County, a mentoring program for at risk youth, 3 years as an accountant and 6 years as the Community Services Program Director for Indianhead Community Action Agency.
Ms. Wishowski accept Jesus as Lord and Savior in October 1997.  She is an active member of the First Church of Christ and Heart of the North Gospel Ministries.

Jack Pederson

Jack  was born and raised in Eau Claire, WI. At age 11 his family moved to Marshfield. He graduated from Marshfield Senior High in 1963 and attended UW-Eau Claire from which he received a BA degree. In 1968 he married his wife, Jackie, and began his teaching career at Ladysmith High School (social studies), which was to span 34 years. He also coached JV basketball and varsity baseball (27 years).
He “retired” in 2002, but has been a substitute teacher in the Flambeau and Ladysmith School systems for the past 16 years. During that time, he coached girl’s golf at LHS for two seasons.
He lives on beautiful Lake Flambeau and enjoys boating, fishing, kayaking, and just floating on a mat on hot summer days. His hobbies also include golfing, reading, traveling, T.V. and following and rooting for Wisconsin’s amateur and professional sports’ teams.
He has been blessed with five bright and talented grandchildren. Three live in Alaska with his son Eric and wife Sherry. His daughter, Michelle, lives in Minnesota with her husband, Ron, and his two oldest grandchildren. Jack and Jackie have a “tiny house” in Alaska on their son’s beautiful property overlooking Ketchamak Bay.
He has always enjoyed working with young people as they seem to relate well with each other. Through Power House, he believes he can help young people academically, socially, spiritually and perhaps in other ways which would aid their development in becoming young adults.
He looks forward to working with the other board members, tutoring, partaking in youth activities and making Power House a vital part of our community.

George Lawrence

George was raised in Onalaska/La Crosse Wisconsin. He attended the UW-La Crosse for two years and WITC where he earned a wood tech degree.  He worked as a restaurant manager in Rice Lake for many years until he started his own home maintenance business.  He does this and church maintenance for Hope Lutheran in Ladysmith, currently. 
George and His wife Anita moved to Ladysmith in 1989.  They have three children and five grandchildren.  George loves to volunteer.  Some of his past involvements include president of United Way, member of the Jaycees, committee member at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rice Lake, board member of Kinship in Ladysmith, and property committee member at Hope Lutheran Church.  Currently, George volunteers on the Congregational Care Committee at his church Hope Lutheran, and as a board member for Power House. 
During his leisure time, he loves to be with his children and grandchildren, visit and reconnect with his siblings (5-brothers & 3-sisters), outdoor activities especially taking in majestic sunrises and sunsets.  He loves to work with his hands and help others.
